JOIN THE CELEBRATION | October 7, 2017
Bay Day is like Earth Day – for San Francisco Bay.
It is one official day every year for the entire Bay Area to come together and celebrate the Bay.
Dozens of community partners in every part of the Bay will host celebrations, lead special programs, and offer special discounts for the public.
Don’t be fooled by the bridges, levees, and city skylines—the Bay is wild and alive. In fact, it’s the largest and most ecologically important estuary on the west coast. When we take one day each year to celebrate this amazing natural resource, the movement to preserve and protect it for future generations grows stronger.
The second annual Bay Day takes place on Saturday October 7, 2017. Bay Day 2017 will be even bigger and better — and we need your help to spread the word!
Save The Bay is seeking volunteers located around the Bay Area to help create excitement for Bay Day 2017. Will you help us flyer Bay Day 2017 postcards and posters in cafes and shops in your hometown to raise awareness about the event?
We’re seeking corporate partners for the second annual Bay Day. Interested in sponsorship opportunities? Contact us at email@example.com to learn more.
Last year, the first ever Bay Day reached millions. Bay Area locals around the San Francisco Bay came together to dedicate the first Saturday of October as the official day for residents, businesses and community organizations to celebrate the beauty and diversity of all Bay life.
This year's celebration will be bigger and better than ever! Bay Day is a chance to participate in a vibrant community celebration and connect with new audiences throughout the region.
