Ignite your love for the Bay and protect this natural, local resource by volunteering at one of four locations. Volunteer in our Native Plant Nursery, where we raise thousands of seedlings for restoration projects or help remove invasive, weedy species from the shoreline. Bring the entire family and give back to the Bay on Bay Day.
Due to the sensitive nature of the restoration sites, space is limited and RSVP is requested. Please fill out the online registration form by clicking on your preferred volunteer location and register today.
Doug McConnell, from NBC's Bay Area Backroads, will be hosting a San Francisco Bay Trail hike on Bair Island from 10am-12pm. Spots birds and enjoy the expansive vistas from this 3,000 acre island near Redwood City. This is an exclusive opportunity for Bay Day with limited spots available. Please RSVP for the hike by emailing your name, the number of attendees in your party, and contact details to BayDay@savesfbay.org and include DOUG MCCONNELL HIKE in the subject line. Deadline to RSVP for this hike is October 5, 2017.
Many thanks to Doug McConnell and the San Francisco Bay Trail.
