FAQ
Bay Day is a regional holiday celebrating the heart of our home –
San Francisco Bay. This one-day shoreline festival offers a unique opportunity to connect with Bay Area community members. Our ninth annual Bay Day includes activities for people of all ages. From restoration projects, to bird walks and Bay Trail tours, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.
Bay Day is free of cost! Anyone can sign up for our programs and join us on the shoreline.
Our Palo Alto Baylands Nursery is located along a flat gravel trail about 200 feet from a paved parking lot. The walks will also involve traversing flat gravel trails. There is a port-o-potty available in the parking lot for use.
Our habitat restoration team is committed to making our work as accessible as possible. If you have specific questions, contact us in advance of your program at bayevents@savesfbay.org.

Bay Day is a regional community event organized by Save The Bay. Save The Bay is the only regional environmental organization that combines advocacy, habitat restoration, and hands-on education. We bring thousands of individuals to the shoreline each year, and work for a sustainable, healthy, and equitable Bay Area.
