Bird Watching
There are many excellent bird-watching destinations along the San Francisco Bay Trail to visit. Grab a pair of binoculars and check out the egrets, herons, ducks, and other shorebirds that hang around these locations. Head to Alviso Ponds in the South Bay, Hoffman Marsh in the East, or Las Gallinas Sanitary District Wildlife Area in the North for good birding opportunities.
