Join Save The Bay for day of learning, building community, and celebrating beautiful San Francisco Bay. There’s something for everyone, whether you meet some new feathered friends at a bird walk, get your hands dirty at a native plant nursery program, or keep trash out of the Bay at our shoreline cleanup. Register in advance to secure your spot in our programs below.
Free 2023 Bay Day shirts will be handed out to the first 100 attendees.

Save The Bay is the only organization that combines political advocacy, wetland restoration and environmental education to drive positive change for San Francisco Bay and its communities. Every year Save The Bay hosts Bay Day to connect our community to San Francisco Bay and celebrate this beautiful region we call home.
The Bay Day Celebration is BARTable!
- From Richmond or Berkeley: Orange-S Line to Coliseum, then walk 15 min West on 66th Ave until you reach the shoreline.
- From Antioch, Concord, or Walnut Creek: Yellow-S Line to MacArthur Station, transfer to Orange-S Line. Get off at Coliseum, then walk 15 min West on 66th Ave until you reach the shoreline.
- From Fremont or North San Jose: Green-N or Orange-N to Coliseum and then walk 15 min West on 66th Ave until you reach the shoreline.
- From San Francisco: Green-N or Blue-N to Coliseum, then walk 15 min West on 66th Ave until you reach the shoreline.
