From Redwood Shores to Ravenswood Slough, this trail takes you through a number of restored and protected wetlands in the Peninsula. Starting at Redwood Shores district, walk, run or cycle the paved trail and stop at Redwood Shores Branch Library, where you can learn about the nearby habitat with multiple interactive exhibits. From there, travel along Inner Bair Island where you can catch a glimpse of shorebirds in the tidal wetlands of Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Nearby is the Port of Redwood City, the deepest water channel in the South Bay. As you move along the trail, you will reach Bedwell Bayfront Park, an uphill walk that will reward you with an awe inspiring view of the Bay.
