The theme for RethinkWaste’s 2022 contest is Everyday Upcycling! Students are encouraged to illustrate how they can reuse ordinary items and turn them into something new.

2022 POSTER CONTEST GUIDELINES

• Participants must be 3rd through 5th grade students in the RethinkWaste service area: Belmont, Burlingame, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, parts of unincorporated San Mateo County, and the West Bay Sanitary District
• 2022 Theme: Everyday Upcycling!
• Show us how you can turn an ordinary item from around your home or classroom into something new by reusing it or “upcycling” it!
• Must be made individually, one entry per student.
• Posters must be 8.5 x 11 inch white paper in landscape (horizontal) orientation. No lined paper.
• No copyrighted material, computer graphics, or characters. Must be all original artwork.
• Must be 2D and in any medium (paint, markers, color pencils, crayons, etc.)

PAUTAS DEL CONCURSO DE CARTELES DE 2022

• Los participantes deben ser 3rd a través de 5th grado estudiantes en el área de servicio de RethinkWaste: Belmont, Burlingame, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, partes del condado de San Mateo no incorporado y el distrito sanitario de West Bay
• Tema 2022: ¡Reciclaje cotidiano!
• ¡Muéstranos cómo puedes convertir un artículo ordinario de tu casa o salón de clases en algo nuevo reutilizándolo o “reciclándolo”!
• Debe realizarse de forma individual, una entrada por alumno.
• Pósteres debe: be 8.5 11 pulgadas x papel blanco en orientación horizontal (horizontal). Sin papel rayado.
• Ningún material, gráficos de computadora o personajes con derechos de autor. Debe ser obra de arte original.
• Debe ser 2D y en cualquier medio (pintura, rotuladores, lápices de colores, crayones, etc.)
